Online oyun oynama hizmeti için PlayStation cephesi PlayStation Plus, Xbox cephesi ise Xbox Games With Gold ile oyunculara hizmet veriyor. Tabii aylık ücret ödeyerek üye olunan bu servis ile birlikte bir takım ücretsiz oyunlar da düzenli olarak oyunculara sunuluyor. Polygon’un 2019 analizine göre; PS Plus abonelerine bu yıl tam 32 adet ücretsiz oyun verilmiş. Bu oyunların Metacritic ortalaması ise 77 puan. Ayrıca oyunların toplam değeri ise yaklaşık olarak 848 dolar değerinde.

Xbox Games With Gold üyelerine ise; Xbox One’ın geriye uyumluluğu sayesinde toplamda 48 adet oyun ücretsiz olarak sunulmuş. Bu oyunların Metacritic ortalaması ise 75 puan. Ayrıca oyunların toplam değeri ise yaklaşık olarak 1.196 dolar değerinde.

Microsoft’un geriye uyumluluk kapsamı sayesinde 2019’da rakibine karşı daha fazla oyun verdiği açıkça ortada.
