587 Do Not Disturb I plan to read 150 books this year (I read a lot of light fiction as an escape and I don’t have a social life so...). But I haven’t been reading a lot lately. I hadn’t gotten enough quiet time. And now according to Goodreads, I am 5 books behind my reading goals. 😅 So I’m escaping reality again to get some reading done this weekend. At least it’s quiet up here. Can you read if there’s a lot of white noise around you?

560 . . Something really simple today because I got sidetracked!!!😴 . But the whole idea is that a book can take you anywhere! Unless you're reading self-help books then I don't think that's the main point. 😕 . I once read about the body farm research facility in Texas and it's definitely a fascinating "mind" tour. . . “Really, that’s all a vacation is… Us eating in a place we’ve never been. ‘Well, why don’t we eat something… then we’ll go and get something to eat. Then we’ll see that thing we’re supposed to see, they’ve probably got a snack bar there, right? After that, we should probably get something to eat, though.” - Jim Gaffigan . But Jim seems to have other opinions. Haha Love that guy ☝
